One Day at a Time

Scarlett woke up this morning with really thick secretions. They are normally thin and easy to suction. I had to do extra sets of coughs (using the cough machine) and use a larger size catheter to get all of the gunk up. She also started running a fever last night but I'm thinking the fever is related to the c-diff. We did a sputum sample and should know more by the end of the week. I am praying that she just has allergies and that her respiratory symptoms subside when the weather gets better. Her tummy is still bothering her but I'm doing my best to keep her comfortable. We actually put two movies on for her today at the same time. One was playing on the big screen and the other was on her portable DVD player. I have a feeling I will never be able to watch my shows on the big screen ever again. She loved seeing Winnie The Pooh on both screens. She enjoyed her bath today but was very quiet.
