Very Sick

Scarlett's culture came back today. She is growing Strep and Stenotrophomonas. Her doctor started her on an antibiotic to treat the Strep and Stenotrophomonas. There is one HUGE problem with starting her on an antibiotic for a respiratory infection. It could make the C-Diff worse! Trying to rid her body of c-diff while treating those infections is going to be extremely difficult. I don't know how all of this is going to pan out. We are giving her a probiotic, increased her fluids and increased the frequency of her respiratory treatments to every 2 to 4 hours (including through the night).
