Move It Girl

Scarlett is very weak and has little movement left in her body due to SMA. She can raise her eyebrows, smile, slightly lift her fingers and move her right leg when suspended in a sling. She isn't able to move her left leg at all. We don't know why the SMA has affected her left leg more than her right leg. It's amazing what Scarlett can do with her right leg when in a sling.

I set up a new "toy" with balloons and bells. I filled the balloons with rice so that they would make a noise when she kicks them. The new toy is a complete success. She is having so much fun moving that leg. Go Scarlett! Go!
