Putting up a good fight!

Scarlett is still sick. She isn't worse then yesterday so I guess that's good news. We saw her Pulmonologist today at Cincinnati Children's. He said Parainfluenza is very serious in SMA kids. We are doing round-the-clock respiratory treatments and hoping her lungs continue to stay clear. We are also praying that she doesn't get a secondary infection like pneumonia. When SMA kids get sick it takes them a lot longer to get well. Their fragile bodies have so much trouble fighting "simple" things like the common cold. Scarlett is now fighting off a huge thing called parainfluenza. She is putting up a good fight and we will continue to help her!
