Busy, Busy, Busy

I'm sorry I haven't posted in almost two weeks. I have been so busy with Scarlett's care. She hasn't been feeling well again. We started her on another course of antibiotics and are hoping that will make her feel better.

A lot of SMA babies have recently passed away. In October, four children that I know of, lost their battle to SMA. When a child with SMA earns their angel wings I feel as if a part of my heart goes with them. It's heartbreaking to say the least.

Scarlett's body is fragile and I am completely aware that we could loose her at any moment. There is still no cure for SMA and we have to fight every second of every day for Scarlett's presence here on earth. I am thankful every night before I go to bed that I got to spend another day with my sweet Scarlett. She is the light of my life and I love her so much.

This past week was beautiful so we went on a lot of walks together. We even saw two sunsets and a huge buck!
