The
National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) has joined with
its affiliate, Home Healthcare Nurses Association (HHNA), in the second
annual Nurse Recognition Program to identify the top
home care and hospice nurses in the nation. NAHC received numerous
nominations for home care and hospice nurses nationwide who provide
exceptional care, reduce hospital readmissions, and make a difference in
patients’ lives. NAHC
has announced the 50 winners, one from each state. In addition, they
announced the top 10 finalists who will compete to be Home Care &
Hospice Nurse of the Year.
It is with great pleasure and pride that I announce that Scarlett's nurse, Janet Randall, has been named the Ohio representative and is one of ten semi-finalists for 2013 Home Care and Hospice Nurse of the Year!
