Doing Well!

We are still in the hospital and are anxious to go home. We are exhausted but still have to demonstrate to the hospital that we can care for Scarlett with a trach. They have a very intense trach education program. In order for us to go home, we have to demonstrate 4 more trach changes and do a 24-hour stay with no help. We have demonstrated all of the other care requirements for discharge. Luckily, we have had a lot of experience caring for a medically fragile child.
