The Simple Things

I'm trying to organize all of Scarlett's newborn pictures and I stumbled on this one. Scarlett was exactly 7-days-old in this picture. This picture is so special to us because she is doing something that a healthy baby would do. EATING. I have somehow forgotten that she did feed by mouth for a short period of time. She has been fed through a feeding tube since she was 3-months-old and it's now become normal do us.
