A Special Gift
Scarlett's I PAD has arrived!!! Yay! It was a special gift from her friend Steve. A lot of other SMA families have them and now Scarlett can participate in the fun. We plan on using the I Pad as a communication device. We are currently trying to teach her "cause and effect." Today it was mainly used for FUN. We played a peek-a-boo game, read a Winnie The Pooh book and watched Ice Age. We also played a Zoo Animal game which made all kinds of noises. Her favorite animal was the cat. There are so many amazing things that this I Pad is going to for Scarlett. I am so excited to start exploring with her. Thank you Steve!

Koi pond is fun and the Dr.Seuss books are interactive. Oh and the Duck, Duck Moose apps are great. I know you will love it!
I needed a break from backing up my photos so I came here and reread your post. It hit me how HUGE this device can be as a communication tool. WOW I love this gift even more. :):):)
