Slumber Party

Scarlett didn't want to sleep last night. We had a long day yesterday. I wasn't able to give her a bath until late evening. I usually do bath time in the morning so I think I threw her schedule off. After her bath she was ready to play. She had so much energy. I did our normal night routine and put her on the ventilator. She usually falls asleep shortly after that. Last night was a different story. She wanted to have a slumber party. We played beauty parlor, did her nails, watched a movie and read books. Before I knew it, it was midnight. She was still wide awake. She had so much energy that she was actually talking to the DVD players. All night she was saying "ahahaaah... ooowhhahhaa.... ahahaaaa..." I have to admit I thought it was cute. Ryan and I couldn't help but laugh. I don't know if we slept but we didn't care. She was up all night having FUN! She was happy and content. What more could we ask for? I let her sleep in until 11am today. I wonder what tonight will bring.

So excited about her new jammies. She liked her new hairstyle as well. She has so much hair that I was able to put it in two buns.




I wrapped her splint in a hot-green wrap. It matched her jammies perfectly.



She was so not ready for bed. She wanted to play and not sleep.
