I Love Sundays

Sundays are the best! It's the one day of the week that I get to relax and truly enjoy my time with Scarlett. During the week we are busy with speech therapy, occupation therapy, physical therapy, doctor visits, durable medical supply visits and nurse visits. It's always hectic and I'm always "on."

Getting ready for a bath.




I used a new shampoo today and Scarlett loved it. It was an Aveda Lavender Eucalyptus shampoo. I held a piece of her shampooed hair up to her nose and she made a loud "ahhhhh uhhh" noise. It was a happy sound. She liked it!




After her bath, I let her hang-out in her new hooded towel. It was a gift from her great Aunt Liz. I rubbed lotion on her feet as she relaxed.




She picked out some jammies for herself and for her new doll Paige. I try to give her options when it comes to what she's going to wear. I held up the outfit she is wearing and a purple shirt. I asked her what she would like to wear? She looked at the orange flower outfit. I then asked her if she wanted to wear the orange flower outfit. She looked at the orange outfit again so I knew that's what she wanted. I did the same thing for Paige's outfit. She also picked out some pink hair bows for Paige. Isn't it sweet that she wanted to share her hair bows with her new friend?
