I've been meaning to post pictures of the house remodel for Scarlett. These pictures were taken with my camera phone.
This is what will soon be Scarlett's roll-in shower. As you can see, we ripped everything out. Including the vanity, shower, two closets and tile. The toilet is now gone as well (this picture was taken about a month ago). We also widened the bedroom door (to the right of the picture) so that Scarlett will be able to easily move through in her wheelchair.
We framed in her bathroom so it now has walls and a door opening. The opening will allow for a 36 inch door so that her wheelchair can fit through.
We widened the kitchen opening so that Scarlett can have access to the kitchen.
Widened Hallway.
Ryan is putting in more closets for Scarlett. She has a lot of medical supplies so we need extra storage space.
This is what Scarlett's bathroom looks like today, February 1st. The contractor is scheduled to start tomorrow on Scarlett's roll-in shower. Hooray!!!! I will defiantly take pictures of the bathroom remodel and post them. We did all of the demo and prep work for the contractor to cut on cost. All he has to do it put it back together. I hope things come together without any problems.

We are so excited for Scarlett. How great that she will be able to move all around. Hope she gets a power chair soon and will zoom up and down those hallways. Go Scarlett Go!
Wow, Your new home will be fabulous, almost as beautiful as the occupants! I know Scarlett will love being in every room & on the move with you.I am very proud of all you & Ryan have accomplished in such a short amount of time. And God has certainly sent you endless angels to be your house-helpers!! Love you all, Gramma
